Gateway is governed by a 30 member tripartite board of directors comprised of public officials, private industry, and consumers that are democratically selected representatives of low-income individuals and families who reside in the geographic area being served by the agency. Members represent each of Gateway’s five-county jurisdiction and work in concert with staff to reduce poverty, revitalize low-income communities, and empower low-income families and individuals in rural and urban areas to become fully self-sufficient.
