Success Story Spotlight

Thank You to MOCO Tranisit from Montgomery County Homeless Coalition

Amy Conley, Board Treasurer and founder of the

Montgomery County Homeless Coalition

"We are greatly appreciative of the efforts MOCO Transit has made to accommodate our clients who stay with us at the Sterling House Inclement Weather Center when the temperatures are 32 degrees Fahrenheit and below. Gateway Community Action has been amazing to work with.
They were able to coordinate the shuttle coming weekdays Monday through Friday by 7:30am to transport anyone who wanted to go to breakfast at Dairy Queen. Greg Waters at DQ graciously agreed to provide vouchers for these folks to have breakfast after their inclement weather stay. Our volunteers contact MOCO transit by 6:45am in the morning if there is a need of transportation.
We are so fortunate to live in a community that is so mindful of others. We cannot thank the Moco Transit team enough for working with us and providing this great service to the community."
